The conference will be held in the Octagon Centre which is a purpose build conference and entertainment venue located on the University of Sheffield campus. Buses 51,52 and N1 stop outside the University Concourse, 30, 40,120,505 stop outside the Student Union or the University of Sheffield tram stop is just around the corner, about 3 minutes walk away. The registration desk, cloak room, toilets and hot drinks will be available in the Octagon Centre. Meetings and workshops will take place in University House over the footbridge next door - there will be appropriate signage to direct you. Please ensure when you arrive at the Octagon for the first time you report to the registration desk. If you have pre-registered all you need to do is drop your registration card in the box provided and take a conference bag. Please wear your badge at all times whilst you are in the venue as only registered members are admitted. The members bar will be in the food court at University House, linked to the Octagon Centre by a footbridge. We will be serving from a large and varied range of real ales, Cider & Perry. Food will be available for those visiting the members bar from the venue's outlets with hot meals and sandwiches available. Also at this location is the public transport stand with information on bus, train and tram services, you can buy discounted tram tickets at this stand too. Toilets, soft drinks and hot drinks are also available in University House and there is direct access from the University Concourse via a staircase or lifts. |
