Sheffield & District branch

Sheffield & District Pub of the Year Competition 2008

Members of CAMRA living in the Sheffield & District branch area have been busy voting for their favourite real ale pubs, bearing in mind the following key areas:

- Availability, range and quality of real ale (most important!)

- Availability of real cider?

- Atmosphere and friendliness of staff and clientele

- general presentation of the pub

- Management embracing CAMRA's values

- They must have visited the pub and tried the beer recently

We will be presenting two pub of the year awards - one for the top pub in the City of Sheffield and one for the top pub in our part of Derbyshire. These two winners will be then submitted as our nominations for the county rounds (Yorkshire & Derbyshire) of the national competition.
