Saturday 29th March: Meet at Sheffield railway station at 10:20 Walkabout in Huddersfield: We are catching the 10:36 train from Sheffield to Huddersfield (also picks up at Meadowhall and Chapeltown) for a crawl of the real ale pubs of Huddersfield.
Tuesday 1st April: 20:00 at the University Arms Branch AGM: We conduct the formal business of the AGM as required, including presentation of the accounts, chairman's annual review, election of committee and to debate any motions for changes to the constitution (Motions should be submitted by the March branch meeting). We will also announce the winner of the Pub of the Year vote.. Normal branch meeting will follow.
Tuesday 8th April: From 20:00 at the Coach & Horses (buses 43/44/89) Pub of the month: We're at the Coach & Horses in Dronfield to present their winners certificate. Come along and join the pubs celebrations and enjoy the range of beers from Thornbridge Brewery.
Tuesday 15th April: 20:30, New Barrack Tavern, Penistone Road (buses 53/77A) Beer Festival planning meeting: We continue to discuss arrangements for our 2008 beer festivals. Anyone CAMRA member who would be interested in getting involved are welcome to come along.
Tuesday 22nd April From 20:00 at the Kelham Island Tavern Beer Matters distribution & committee meeting: The May issue of Beer Matters will be available to collect and take to pubs and other outlets. The committee will also be holding their monthly meeting.
Saturday 26th April Meet on the 218 bus that departs Sheffield Interchange at 10:35 RambAle: A hike around the Peak District that conveniently takes in a number of quality rural real ale pubs along the way. Our walk starts near Taddington and ends up in the Great Longstone area.
Tuesday 29th April From 20:00 at the Cocked Hat Cocked Hat - celebrating 10 years in the Good Beer Guide We will be presenting a certificate to mark this milestone. Get there by bus 69.
Tuesday 6th May venue to be confirmed Branch meeting: A formal meeting to share pub, club and brewery news, discuss campaigning issues and get updated on branch & national business by the committee. All over a few pints of course.
Monday 26th May Meet on the 12:14 train from Sheffield. Hope Valley Train Crawl: Our annual trip out to visit the pubs in the villages served by the railway - Edale, Hope, Bamford, Hathersage and Grindleford. We get the train out to Edale and work our way back!
Friday 30th May Walkabout in Commonside
Saturday 28th June Meet in the Devonshire Arms in Dore at 12:00. M17 bus crawl Pubs in Dore, Totley, Bradway and Greenhill. Meet at the Devonshire Arms in Dore, which is the bus terminus for both the M17 and 30.
