What
is CAMRA LocAle? Everyone benefits as:
Licensees wishing to benefit from
participation in the CAMRA LocAle scheme must agree to endeavour to
ensure that at least one locally brewed real ale is on sale at all
times. Only real ale can be promoted as CAMRA LocAle. The definition of
local applied by Sheffield & District CAMRA is beer brewed at a
brewery within a 20 mile radius of the pub. Even leaseholders from the
major pub companies may be able to become involved through participation
in the SIBA direct delivery scheme or inclusion of local beers on the
company’s guest beer list. The following are among the pubs
within the Sheffield & District Branch area so far signed up to the
scheme and accredited: Angler’s Rest, Miller’s Dale;
Castle Inn, Bradway; Cobden View,
Crookes; Commercial, Chapeltown; Fat Cat, Alma Street; Fox & Duck,
Broomhill; If your pub qualifies and you wish to become involved in the LocAle initiative, please contact any committee member. Publicity items available include pump clip crowns, window stickers, posters and drip mats. |
