Getting to the festival by train

Dronfield station

 

Trains operated by Northern Rail on the Leeds-Barnsley-Sheffield-Chesterfield-Nottingham route run hourly and call at Dronfield station. In addition at certain times of day East Midlands Trains services on the Liverpool-Norwich route call here. 

 

Our free festival bus will pick you up from the turning circle at the front of the station. TM Travel Bus 15 also links the railway station to Dronfield Woodhouse and Holmesfield (fare payable).

 

Near the station there is a cash machine, newsagent and a number of fast food outlets.

 

Dore & Totley station

 

Trains operated by Northern Rail on the Sheffield-Hope Valley-Manchester route run hourly and call at Dore & Totley station. In addition at certain times of day East Midlands Trains services on the Liverpool-Norwich route and First Transpennine Express services on the Cleethorpes-Manchester Airport route call here. 

 

Our festival bus will pick up outside Dore & Totley railway station at the bus stop on the main road. Alternatively it is just a few minutes walk from the station to Abbeydale Sports Club. Additionally Stagecoach bus 293 links the railway station with Bradway and Dronfield Woodhouse, First bus 97 links the railway station with Totley, fares payable on both these buses.

Buying train tickets online

 

You can buy single or return train tickets online in advance, if you want to do this we recommend you use the website of the train operator you choose to travel with to ensure you get the best deal (see links above).

 

Note local bus and train day rover tickets are available and in some cases may prove better value - if you are travelling from somewhere in Derbyshire a Derbyshire Wayfarer ticket may be a good idea and from within South Yorkshire to Dore & Totley station a South Yorkshire Daytripper ticket might be your best bet.
